We had the best of days for our trip to Prahran Market and Williamstown Picnic, the weather was gorgeous, warm, sunny but not too hot.
A Market is always a good venue to visit just before Christmas and we especially liked the fresh clean shops of Prahran crammed with goodies.  A nice coffee and muffin break with plenty of seating for a rest before exploring again make it a very civilised way to spend a morning.
A tour around old Williamstown, then on to Point Gelibrand park, Williamstown for a slap-up sausage in a blanket luncheon, complete with yummy caramelized onions, followed by fresh grapes, tea or coffee...Heaven!
A drive through Beacons Parade to see the twin Beacons that brought ships safely to harbour in the old days, a quick look at a huge docked cruise ship, then home via the scenic Beach Road.
with all this going on, you wouldn't be dead for quids!!!
