Roy and Win resided over our biggest fund raiser of the year with their usual panache, a polished performance indeed...Our usual madness and mayhem, but a lot of fun.
As usual we had various objects to auction, kindly donated by local businesses and members, and we raised $2,700 this year. No bad seeing as people are hesitant to give in this economic environment.
Win did a wonderful job, as usual, of making up baskets and bags for the raffles. Our largest raffles was donated by Gray-Line Tours with a wonderful full day tour for two taking in the Great Ocean Road and the Fairy Penguins, a huge day out.
Jan Henry, a member who runs her own tailoring business keeps a jar for donation throughout the year and her clients will be pleased to know that their kindness really helps towards our total.
