As we do not have a December meeting, we like to make our last meeting of the year a bit special, so we have a "chat n chew" day with round tables, mince pies, shortbread and chissy cake.  We had a huge raffle, and this year we had a mini-auction which raised approx $300 for our community gifting program.

To entertain the troops, Dick dressed as Father Christmas and treated his three unruly children, Win, Carol and Eileen as baby to a reading of The Night before Christmas.

Needless to say, the naughty children interrupted Father Christmas, argued and generally made heaps of unnecessary noise -- really would not have been tolerated in my day.

Later, we had a Carol's singsong.

"Baby" Eileen spars with big sister Win

Carol spanks her naughty teddy

Father Christmas (Dick) tries to read to the naughty Children

Eileen isn't sure about the man in the Santa suit

Win interrupts all the time.

The children have a giggle
